And unfortunately he suffers from severe memory loss, even forgetting being on Malcolm in the Middle and many of the items he had in his home he used as reminders and methods of tracking his memories… very sad

Oh no that makes this story a lot less funny. That’s actually really sad

I was really hoping this was some bullcrap someone made up but it’s not, he’s also haf somewhere around 15 mini strokes and is at risk for a strong one. No matter your denomination it might be nice to keep Muniz in your thoughts and or prayers.

Idk maybe I missed the moment in an episode that has all these takes seeing enlightenment and nuance in a character who gets mad when her roommate calls her bisexual and spews every hateful thing about us folks say then to only decide to use the label an epi later, announce to him at dinner, and tell her first date/one nighter to spit in her mouth (which felt so…out of nowhere since she had never done anything else sexually *adventurous* besides sleep with a man prior to that moment.) But all these takes about nuance (i had a convo w one person on twitter too) and not acknowledging her awful behavior to every person she decided to be with during her “exploration” is a miss for me. All I keep seeing is this praise for being able to not be a likable character and that’s fine, she doesn’t have to be. But when it feels like the characters biggest flaw is her bisexual orientation, that’s a problem.

The creator/writer may be bi herself but if this was supposed to be her doing positive rep for bi folks, I didn’t see it. It felt like Leila treated being bi like a carnival ride that she could get off of any time she felt sick enough or someone caught her on it and that was a mess to watch to me.

Romain Recall- ALL of it

Hey heads up right now (11/20) the CDC says that NO store bought romaine in the country is safe. Not a mouthful. Not whole, not chopped, not salad mixes, not from certain states… absolutely all of it should be tossed.

32 in the states have been sickened, 13 are hospitalized. 18 known cases in Canada right now, too.

While in this case it’s not worth it to risk it, take a moment to read up on the correct way to wash fresh greens.

If you have the packaging you can get a refund for it without a receipt

This is as of today, November 20th 2018

i ❤ deniz. she’s such an important person and her whole emotional arc got to me. when she said leila was the first person she had ever met who was like herself was heavy. and the way leila really tried to respect that moment for her but it ended up hurting her later because that distinction between bi and lesbian was something deniz took to heart whether it was right or not

Yeah. I really like her and her story and her friendship with Leila seemed to be about the only time Leila actually thought about someone else’s feelings before her own. I would love a show with Denis and her family and her trying to become the chef she really wants to become and who she’s dating.

I watched most of The Bisexual on Hulu last night and am finishing episode 6 now. It was a mistake. Leila is terrible.

there is like SO MUCH to unpack on this friggin show. it’s not entirely bad, but. it’s… a lot.

The only good thing for me was meeting Denis, Ruby, and Hemmy. Give me a show about them.
