when making gifs, the basic steps are:

1. download a video
2. import video frames into layers on ps
3. crop and resize your gif with the correct dimensions
4. sharpen your gif
5. color your gif
6. save your gif via “save for web (legacy)”

» tips

• always download hq videos for hq gifs (1080p or 720p, no less)
• always use the right dimensions
• don’t make your frame rate too fast or too slow
• make sure your gif has less than 256 colors (x, x)
