On the other, pettier hand… every time a light skinned, 3c haired, mixed girl is cast to play a non-mixed black girl, with a dark skinned 4c haired family, it’s always crickets. And when we call out the studios for only wanting to cast light skinned black/mixed women in those roles, we get called bitter because “it’s all black anyway!”
