For all those who watched Hallmark Channel’s 2018 Countdown to Christmas Preview Special hosted by Kellie Pickler, eleven holiday movies were previewed. Here’s a bit of a look at them, and you can still watch the special on Hallmark Channel Everywhere.

Third Movie Previewed:

“Christmas Everlasting” (Hallmark Hall Of Fame) starring Tatyana Ali, Dandre Whitfield, Dennis Haysbert, and Patti LaBelle.

During the intro some brief clips were shown, plus two scenes were shown. The first scene were the characters arriving at a cookie baking party, the second was the ‘hey I surprised you with a Christmas tree’ scene. Looks good.

Ninth Movie Previewed:

“A Gingerbread Romance” starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Duane Henry.

We’ve got some glimpses with the intro and two scenes. The first is of our characters walking about enjoying some christmas lights, the second has the characters decorating a Christmas tree.

JERRIKA HINTON AND CHRISTIAN VINCENT STAR IN ‘A MAJESTIC CHRISTMAS’ PREMIERING DECEMBER 2, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Part of the Network’s #1 Rated “Countdown to Christmas” Programming Event

STUDIO CITY, CA – Jerrika Hinton (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Here and Now”) and Christian Vincent (“Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom,” “Sins of the Mother”) star in Hallmark Channel’s “A Majestic Christmas,” a new, original movie premiering Sunday, December 2, (8 p.m. ET/PT) as part of the network’s #1-rated programming event, COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS. Hallmark Channel is historically the #1 television network in all of Q4.

Architect Nell Harper (Hinton) is all about restoring aging structures, not rebuilding them. She’s also all about Christmas, and donates to the Salvation Army. But when she donates to the Salvation Army pot, her bracelet slips off, and as she goes to retrieve it, a handsome gentleman accuses her of stealing. When Santa vouches for Nell, the embarrassed man goes on his way, but not after she cautions him to have more faith in people. As it turns out, he’s Nell’s new client, Connor Martin (Vincent), who inherited the Majestic Theater in her hometown of Briar Falls. He wants to turn the grand old building, where the Christmas Pageant is held, into a modern movie multiplex. Having to ignore all the “Save The Majestic” baseball caps, Nell is determined to give her client what he wants, and as she works alongside Connor, they develop an attraction. But when a freeze bursts the old theater’s pipes, the Christmas Pageant is in jeopardy and Connor lends a hand to repair the damage, getting the town to warm up to him. Also heating up is the romantic flame between Nell and Connor, especially when he suggests she start her own firm. But when Nell quits her job to do just that, Connor wrongly thinks she’s going to bail on The Majestic renovation, a project dearer to his heart than he imagined.

I will never understand the attitude that the CW is some kinda lesser network as if it wasn’t formerly UPN and WB and like it’s any worse than any of the other “big four” networks plus freeform or cable. A lot of the folks we still watch on “the big four” we know because of what used to be The WB/UPN and they all are held to the same standards (and are sister companies- eg CBS/CW same folks) when it comes to the folks who make money off us watching.

Just because some folks hate to watch the shows on it (but still do) doesn’t make The CW any less than the rest of network TV.

Rebel Wilson’s inability to recognize plus sized black women in rom-coms is the same energy as Elizabeth Banks trying to call out Steven Spielberg for never making films about women. And then black women had to say… “Sis, he made the Color Purple.”

I just realized both of these women are involved in those Pitch Perfect films I never saw.
