Keesha Sharp’s Eartha Kitt project has been officially announced.
The Lethal Weapon star has acquired the rights to the 2013 biography, America’s Mistress: The Life and Times of Eartha Kitt. She and Brad Sharp, her husband will develop it as a feature film and she’ll also star as Kitt.
No studio is attached to the project at this time.
So, I could start by listing a hundred reasons why I’ve been so caught up in my own drama… Or we can just jump right to the part where I’m an idiot. It took me a minute to remember, this weekend’s the second anniversary of your mom’s passing. I’m really sorry, I feel terrible. And of course I remember us commemorating her at Elysian Park, and—
