Everyone please I’m begging you please read Kimbrele Crenshaw’s work (definition and application,on violence and intersectionality) to get an understanding of how to properly use intersectionality.

Can’t read dense text? Here is a TedTalk. Y’all gotta stop learning from Buzzfeed videos that cite Huffingtonpost videos. Please value the words and thoughts of Black women because many of y’all just slap the word into whatever context without any care for its application and definition. You guys need to value actually listening to Black women.

okay, so I came into Black Lightning already shipping ThunderGrace, because of things I had seen online of comic them, but since the show started I feel like I’ve gradually lost interest in them jhdskjsfd. MEANWHILE I am so here for Jen and Khalil (idk their ship name) and I didn’t even know Jen was gonna have a love interest when the show started

Same! I was really excited for Thundergrace at first and think they had a decent few episodes before dropping off in season one. I mean, just look at this past week’s episode: Anissa didn’t bring up Grace once, we didn’t see Grace, nor did we get Anissa thinking about Grace in any capacity. It’s very, very inconsistent. I want to care about them but Anissa has to start caring first.

As for Jennifer and Khalil, I want to walk away from them, but this season has somehow done a good job of trying to build them back up again and I can’t lie and say they’re not shippable lol.

Uhm, maybe you didnt see the part where anissa was busy trying to save two babies. She doesnt have to be thinking about grace every second or talk about her every minute. She has a life outside of grace.
