She still has far too much yellow happening in that gif imo (they both do tbh) which still takes some adjusting to get right whether it be by selective color or color balance.
Maggie’s skin in that Charmed Reboot gifset where they use powers for the first time seems really lightened.
Not my gifset but maybe it could have used some brightness adjusting. Gif’n ain’t easy but we all gotta learn. Maybe you can go to that fandom blog and make this suggestion if you feel inclined to do so anon

instead of that song they played when we first saw Anissa in her suit I wanted them to play ‘Black Girl Magic’ by Sierra McClain cause those guys they had writing music S1 were trash. BUT Sierra’s song is from Empire and they’re on Fox and I’ve heard they’re really stingy
Well personally I gotta say I can’t agree with you on this anon. What Kurt Farquhar did for her and that theme song is pretty deep and meaningful. They paid homage to Black Girl Magic and several Black Women who have lost their lives in those lyrics so I’m not mad at her song or them at all. If you haven’t, give the lyrics a real listen.
Maybe Sierra and China can collab with Kurt on her theme. They all know she’s also in music so who knows what may happen by the time she suits up this season
how do you work through your moments of being stunted mentally from writing? what do you use to organize yourself?
Oh goodness anon this is a hard question to answer for me because I’ve been going through it for a while until this week and that was because I knowingly let myself get distracted by my edit work so the first thing I’d say is:
Stop all known distractions. I had to make myself not open PS so I could write and I posted about it so I (and my followers lol) could hold me accountable if I posted any gifs up before the fics I was working on got done and posted first. It worked.
Read (Whether it be your own work, old or the wip, or just an old fic you like) for me I notice sometimes when I stop to read something else, especially if I’m stressing about being stuck, it sometimes helps to just get my mind off of it.
Music. If it doesn’t take you out of what you’re working on sometimes a song can inspire your muse to open up. I have lists I keep for mine and sometimes I just go random whatever on my spotify but that’s only if it seems to help inspire something. Sometimes I need the silence. Which leads to my last point.
If you can and it’s safe to, go sit outside. It helps me sometimes with ideas and stuck spots. I got the last bit of my earlier fic I posted today while sitting on my porch.
I wish you would write a fic where grace meets anissa’s family for the first time
Grace looks up at the house, impressed by the well-kept yard and what she figured it would be, the typical white picket fence set up. Taking a few strides next to Anissa and reaching for her hand, suddenly she’s a ballof nerves. Glancing back at the car before stalling her steps she looks toAnissa.
“Are you sure about this? You know, it’s your parents andyour sister. I’m just…” Anissa rubs a thumb across the top of Grace’s hand before giving her a reassuring squeeze as well for insurance.
“Nervous. Don’t be.”
Squaring her shoulders up for the second time to attempt toshake the tension away, Grace gives her a stressed look anyway.
“Hey, they’re gonna love you as much as I do, relax.”
Grace can’t stop the warm blush that blooms on her face asthey approach the door and the welcoming smile of Anissa’s father greets thembefore she can even reach for the door. And then the words Anissa just said hit.
“Wait, What?”
I love your gif sets and your blog so much! You keep making me want to watch shows I have no business watching (meaning I already watch WAY too many shows and behind on almost everything lol) Thank you for putting up things about All American because I’m excited to see it and beyond irritated of just seeing CC’s face! I don’t have a problem with him but it is very annoying because he’s not even like the FIFTH main character. I’m very excited for Charmed to start and Black Lightning to return!

I feel you on watching too many shows but here we are just trying to juggle them all lol. I definitely am looking forward to the new shows and returns as well and yes I feel you on that about CC. Hopefully, the tags start balancing out once the show starts.

I definitely plan to check it out and that may end up being the only new show I add to my gif list this year (we’ll see but that’s my plan for now). Sadly unless you’re a fan of Cody Christian the tags are pretty bare of any content (”all american/ all americancw) so it makes me wanna make sure that the actual lead played by Daniel Ezra and other characters get some attention, ya know?
I especially am excited to also see Bre-Z again since I quit Empire before she ended on there.
It looks like it could be a good watch and it’s based on real events so I plan to check it out
