Coming back to her home town Saturday, Queen Sugar showrunner Kat Candler and the cast portraying the Bordelon siblings offered fans a rare glimpse into the OWN network show, currently in production for season three.

Candler, Kofi Siriboe (stoic, single dad Ralph Angel), Rutina Wesley (activist and burgeoning journalist Nova), and Dawn-Lyen Gardner (headstrong Charley) joined moderators Amanda N’Duka and Dino-Ray Ramos of Deadline’s New Hollywood podcast on the Alamo Ritz stage following a screening of next week’s episode. (Sorry, folks. No spoilers here, but let’s just say Davis, Charley’s former husband, drops yet another explosive revelation.)
