We can fly,  I never questioned why the stars aligned, and placed you in my life to become a permanent fixture in my journey, or why my soul felt whole, no questioning the connection, or when you said you’d take care of my heart, I didn’t question your ability to provide that protection, never denied nor tried to hide, my affection, I knew it when I held your hand in mine..upon meeting, upon that simple greeting, eyes piercing through me without intention, gave way to the ascension… Of us… You are the reason for my arrhythmia. It’s just that my heart is attempting to beat with yours, bounds and leaps for yours, sound a sleep no more, awaken like a hungry lion in a den, that has caught wind…of fresh flesh, yes, the rhythm continues and they are almost in unison, I think we’re tuning in, my darling.
