I have random moments of just being so happy for Kat, like she’s my actual real life friend I’m getting to watch finally be with the person they’ve been pining over.
The emotional payoff is always as great as the obstacle(s) (provided the obstacles make sense). A girlfriend, commitment issues, living on different continents, immigration complications??? One pairing got ALL of this in one 10-episode season.
But that’s why this feels so amazing now. No moment is small. Every peck, every hug, every small sign of affection was hard earned. I love these women together. I love how they feel. They feel like they could really happen in real life because it was so damn hard. They really had to fight.
