lifesizehysteria replied to your post “I need to work on some writing and want to write something for Hen and…”

Write their first date. Or first anniversary. Something fluffy since you’re not looking to write angst.

and @sadiomanes yeah that’s what I want but the only thing about this is I have a real vague sense of time for them? Like, I know they’ve been together for as long as Denny has been alive and I can guess he looks to be about 7 or 8 max? But the gap on Eva to married is so hard for me to calculate that idk if i can do something this semi far outta canon so to speak and it write well? (She was locked up for 2 years iirc…I…)

She easily could have said, “I think that the best actor for the job should always be the one chosen and that the core aspect of acting is bringing to life any variety of experiences, even ones you don’t have yourself.” Or something similar, gotten her point across, and not sounded entitled to both gay people’s lives and the large audience of wlw she’s gained through some of her roles.

Exactly. It’s like you said, she’s in a position that she gets roles a lot so it comes off sounding so entitled and especially with Carol and the following she knows she got because of that role specifically in context with this is not a good look

Definitely a part of the interest for me!

Upped the interest for me even more so last week ngl cause I had just started to wonder if they were gonna introduce any kind of romantic plot or what with her too because she works in a bar and was giving out romance advice to Rakesh and her brother on the low even (along with being a grad student) so I wondered and then last week…boom, a morning scene with her girlfriend lol

Hmm interesting. I’m pretty wary of anything with religion as a main theme or core aspect but some of your posts have intrigued me for sure. Thanks for the insight. My ability to actually commit to watching anything right now is pretty much nonexistent but ya know. I’m always willing to add another show to my list of shows I’ve watched three episodes of. 😂

I enjoy it. Been very touching at times and cute too and I like the characters and getting to know them and the people they meet through the account as well. To me this show is more about connections than it is blatantly about any faith of a religious kind and if anything it’s about faith in humanity more so and how sometimes for whatever ever reason you’re just in the right place at the right time. That’s something that I think can speak to anyone whether you believe in a god or not. That’s just my take.

@shaloved30 I used to like early edition. How heavily religious is this show?

Contrary to what you may see in the tags or other places I personally don’t find the show very religious in a “churchy or preachy” sense at all. The main character is and remains to be an atheist and doesn’t believe this FB account is actually God at all, but someone who has hacked into his life not just by the requests that come, but through other things that have happened to him because of this account in one way or another. He feels there is a someone behind the account.

Hulu often has whole series available as does Netflix but I’m not sure if that’s one. I will let you know through because I was looking for it too!

It’s not on netflix. I don’t have hulu but I haven’t heard of it being on hulu so far. But, like, the second season just premiered. You’d think they’d want to make it easy for people to catch up so they can watch s2. I started s1 but didn’t end up getting to finish it bc LIFE and I never set up my DVR to record it. But I really enjoyed the eps I saw and I want to set up for s2 but is there a point if I can’t catch up first???

It is on Hulu. The whole first season. Only the last 5 of S1 is on the FOX site

Okay… is this some dumb new feature, @staff? I commented on someone’s post. Not reblogged, just commented and now I’m getting a notification for Every. Single. Person. who has commented after me. I don’t want or need this.

It’s called “conversational notifications” and you can turn it off under your notification settings.

yet another obnoxious change that tumblr introduced with no warning, apparently.

oh my god thank you.

In case anyone is bothered about notes from a recent post.

@leaveharmony

oh yikes! definitely rest up, it’s all good

Glad you are okay!! Get some rest!

Thanks y’all. Got one thing done but the med is kicking back in and i’llhave to take it for the next few days so I know the struggle will be real to be on and doing things besides mobile. Just wanted all to know I’m here and fine though.

Ash, I have things I will get to and up as soon as I can get them finished.
