okay so after seeing what happened to a lot of marvel bloggers in here, i decided to take some precautionary measures for myself bc i do have a canon url but the dash seems to get me off the hook, all the canon urls they’ve voided have been:
one worded, that means no hyphen
100% canon
no plurals
almost completely related to the marvel fandom
what i did just in case so my account or url doesn’t get terminated was:
delete ANY sideblogs that are just sitting there collecting dust. seriously. if you saved it 6+ months ago “just in case” and you have not used it at all and haven’t gotten any uft offers, it’s not worth it. tumblr always terminates accounts that hoard too many saved urls.
activate the sideblogs that you still decide to keep. this means reblogging posts on there. it doesn’t matter what, as long as your post count isn’t 0 you’re in the clear. tumblr can track your blog activity and decide that one reblog per month is enough to deem it an active sideblog. just go on the #marveledit tag or whatever and reblog 6 or 7 posts. do this for each sideblog.
move your saved urls to a different account. if you still wanna save canon urls or whatever urls you love, you might wanna consider moving them of an entire different account which you can set up with a different email. that means that if your urls get voided or your blog gets terminated, you can still keep your main blog safe from tumblr’s radar.
EDITED TO ADD: urls with a hyphen are not safe either apparently. if it’s still canon, it’s potentially at risk. (user wonder-woman got their url voided).

medicaid said it could take two weeks to process my papers, and no place here sells insulin over the counter. I’ve been to the e.r in the past, and they just sent me home and didn’t give me insulin.

Some people are confused as to what I mean with ‘caption’ so here’s an example:
“love” redirects to the source and CAN trigger an automatic termination of your blog.
What can you do if you find yourself not able to access your blog?
In general, all your information such as your URL; followers; posts, etc is not deleted. But you can’t access your Blog nor can other’s do anything else but tag you.
If you find yourself logged out, use the contact formula at the bottom of the log in page and choose ‘terminated account’ as the reason you’re contacting support and write them a short but detailed explanation of your problem. And then you have to wait. Tumblr might send you an E-Mail letting you know they received your messages. Be aware it can take a while for them to investigate the problem so try not to freak out.
The people I know of got their blog back so don’t worry too much.

Long story short, someone has figured out how to get javascript into FFN user bios. They’re using it to copy that exact same script into other peoples’ bios, spreading it like a virus.
And:
It’s safe to login, and you can edit your profile through the normal profile edit page. But DON’T check any user profiles – not even your own, I think. (it might change your penname) Once you edit it yourself, you should be ok to look at your own again, but not any others for now.
