yeah. I put that in my thoughts post.

#tbh I wouldn’t be shocked if this is remy’s exit set up

I could so see Remy leaving, I hate it because he played such a big part in the land, but there’s not much for him to do since they’re focused on so many other things. I know what I’ve said about him, but it’s actually sad when I think about S1 lol

It is. Especially because of the turn his character took and remembering all that Dondre wanted him to represent and all he did in S1 especially.

watchmythrone13:

do we think they’re really over?

which is more annoying? them picking this relationship back up in the future or knowing that they did this for literally no reason

Yep. Just rewatching the scene right now and when he says “and the way we came to know that is…” Nova: …” filled with pain. Always will be.

I pray to God Nova doesn’t tell Charley at Charley’s home. They don’t need to make anymore bad memories in her place of solace. Davis was enough.

and that asshole Remy has the nerve to be at her door. see what I’m saying?? they’re determined to taint every area of her home.

you gotta rewatch the previews in slo-mo… jesus

Yeah someone on twitter pointed that latter part out to me and I just

surakllap:

In Luke Cage Season 2′s eight episode "If It Ain’t Rough, It Ain’t Right", Detective Brigid O’Reilly was referenced, revealed to have been a detective at the Harlem precinct Misty Knight works at prior to moving to New Orleans.

In Cloak and Dagger’s fifth episode "Princeton Offense", which came out the week after Luke Cage Season 2 aired, O’Reilly ends up referencing her time at Harlem twice.

I love it, I love seeing the MCU truly connected like this.

The song choices on Queen Sugar are incredible. Please Don’t Go x Milo Greene (isn’t released yet) was playing in the last few minutes and it was so fitting.

Micah and Charley sitting by the fire, burning Davis’ covers: “thought I was the last one that you loved. thought that what I gave would be enough. time is just a melody of fate. I was second hand in a second-hand exchange” (BARS!!).

Nova laying in bed, texting Remy “we can’t do this”: “please don’t tempt my heart again. weakness is a poor defense. please don’t… please don’t. please don’t tempt my heart again. a love like yours ain’t innocent. please don’t… please don’t. I can feel your eyes looking for another way to my body. temptation is the game we always play. the house will win, the rules were never changed.” Very fitting, the last three lines are VERY interesting.

I really thought we were going to get some good dialogue with that Charley/Micah scene… maybe in future episodes. There’s a lot they need to unpack.

With those two it takes some time. They are so alike so they spoke without even saying a word from the moment he sat down and saw what was burning. The opening scene really showed up in that moment for me with them
