As I watch my twitter timeline discuss white lesbians and white trans women attack and speak out of turn on the show Pose I am moved to just say.- Be mindful of how you speak about representation that is not catered to you. Just because you want to doesn’t mean you have to interject an opinion on everything.

I brought this here because time after time on here lots of us, black and brown women especially, have to deal with wlw fandom at mass nitpicking and dismissing representation that’s not overwhelming white and as of late femme and it’s tiresome and hurtful because more often than not we show up for y’all no matter what, but it’s hardly ever reciprocated. Allyship has to show up if we are to ever actually believe you mean it when you say you are one.,
