@queenvibranium season 3 was highly disappointing for a lot of us in a lot of areas because of things we felt unnecessary. Micah’s story arc was about the only satisfying outcome other than the wedding.
It’s pretty disappointing that before Thundergrace can even fucking do anything it’s already like Anissa vs Grace-ish. Already seeing somewhere in some vague conflict we have no details of yet that Anissa is the “bad guy”.
I don’t know if it’s the writing in these shows or the fandom, but there’s always reason to hate/hate on the black woman. ALWAYS. ALWAYS. Not even just as part of a ship, but in general. Fandom can never seem to empathize with a black woman, see things from her perspective, give her the benefit of the doubt and damn sure can never forgive her if she is actually wrong.
Never allow a black woman to be a flawed human who can make mistakes, react poorly or make a bad decision.
It’s the same in real life, so I don’t think it’s all in the writing.
I’m especially disappointed to see that blog of all blogs pull the classic yt fandom bingo of a question framed the same as “Am I the only one who?…” tagged it and with no further on character, what brought them to the question, or anything.
Does anyone else find Anissa really inconsiderate? Especially when it comes to romantic relationships.
So first you’re asking if we find her inconsiderate in life, in general? ABSOLUTELY not. I’d strongly disagree there.
We’ve seen her in ONE romantic relationship and yeah hmm I don’t know what to make of her flaw when it comes to romance. I do know this idea she just ghosted Grace then came to her job to hang out with another woman needs more looking into, that would be extremely inconsiderate or worse if it actually happened but again, I SERIOUSLY doubt she knew Grace was working there.
That wasn’t even her party, it was Zoe’s and Grace was working at the event as wait staff.
OP and folks like them doing everything to justify shit talking Anissa cause they refuse to accept this ship was always slow burn, smh
