I just can’t get over the writers not having Nova ask Remy any basic questions by now. Like, at the very least ask him why he and Charley broke up.

The thing i’ve been seeing that’s a true problem to me is people saying because we met Nova sleeping with a married man that means her allowing this thing with Remy to happen makes total sense with how her character has always been written. It does not, unless you believe any woman who will sleep with a married man has no morals whatsoever and no sense of propriety, nobody who she wouldn’t betray, no boundaries. And that’s some absolute nonsense.
I don’t think of people who knowingly sleep with others in relationships fondly either, but come on. There are levels to treachery and Charley is her honest to god, BLOOD. This is her daddy’s daughter who she spent ample time with as a child, the same woman she held in the hospital as they mourned their father.
Come. On.
This way of thinking about her is huge on ig and fb. Rutina even stepped in comments on ig because someone brought Nova being bisexual into it too
If I see one more person say “Charley didn’t want him.” like this scene and moment specifically (2×08) didn’t happen I just might break something. Woosa I cannot with some of this fandom with this sl
All that and furthermore if what they had was nothing, he wouldn’t have been so butt hurt. This man was so pissed at Charley that his ass couldn’t even remain friends with her. If he wasn’t hurt about it, he should have been able to be her friend right? So a hurt man conveniently falls for her sister. I’m not buying any of it.
Also this and last night he still could barely look at her. Just sagging in guilt and probably, hopefully shame,
There definitely seems to be something more going on. Let’s just be real, Nova has to know that this thing with Remy could cause her to lose her sister, and she still went there. Pair that with all the snide remarks, yelling, cussing, stealing and judgements and you have to ask yourself, what would make her treat her sister this way? How can you truly love your sister and literally decide that some D is worth your relationship?
She does know, that’s why she hid it and then as I kept thinking and all that’s gone on between them to come around to this? Why? Aside from the why of them- the why of all of it.
Y’all can act like y’all ain’t watch if you want to (or maybe you didn’t idk) but Charley and Remy did not break up until 2×16 with him dismissing and walking away from her and 3×01 picks up a few months later with not one word because he refused to speak to her except for one smart ass comment at the high yellow at the start of the season.
One drunk kiss and a conversation and slice of pie does not a “moving on” make and folks gonna stop acting like she is not entitled to being hurt by this betrayal.

I agree with most all of this but the stuff about Jacob. For me- He can keep his grimy self and lips as far away from Charley at all times from here on out. No need for any repeats of that scene either.
As far as Darla goes, the only thing I will say is this. Before she came back, every time she called she tried to talk to Rah and he wouldn’t hear it and passed the phone to Blue. She has suggested alternatives to the situation and said 50/50 to which he bucked and tried to shame her accomplishments outta envy and fear. He’s pushed her to this paperwork and I hope they can find some way to work this all out.
yeah I’m hoping they don’t go there with Jacob. I don’t want it either. I definitely don’t ship them. At all. lol Just trying to figure out where they’re going with this. And I definitely don’t blame Darla for what she’s doing. Like I said, I think RA pushed her to a place where she believes she has to do this. She’s doing whatever she has to do, just like any good mom. I trust they’ll work through this.
Hopefully, they go nowhere. One mess is enough and the level of disgust she’s carrying is real for them so I feel like a clear and angry head on Charlotte will prevail.
